Subject:  Hello from MN

Hi, Jim & Cliff!  I hope you are both doing well.  I think of you often and wish that I could still be working hard side by side with you guys!  Volunteering with CRN at any event you were holding and tutoring the boys at YCE were some of the best times I have ever had!  I really miss you all and hope all is going well!  Take care!

Cliff,

Hi, Long time, no see!  Congratulations to you and Jim on your success.  Looks like you are truly blessed.

I walked away from the GVVA 12 years ago and wound up getting a job with a risk management company here in the Duluth satellite office.  The main office is located in Alpharetta.  I'm also going to University of Phoenix to get my degree in Information Technology.  Wish me luck.

Have to close for now.  Great job you two and God Bless.

Kind regards,

Bruce Askew

Subject:  Evaluation
Hello: I am a researcher with The MayaTech Corporation’s Center for Community Prevention and Treatment Research. We are a small research organization that specializes in evaluation, training and technical assistance in the area of public health, with an emphasis in community development, substance abuse, HIV, chronic disease, injury, and women’s health. Because of our work in community settings, we are interested in examining the role of evaluation in the sustainability of community non-profit organizations. We will be presenting the findings from this research for the Non-Profits and Foundations Evaluation Topical Interest Group at the American Evaluation Association’s annual conference. We hope that the findings from this research will be used to improve evaluation capacity within non-profit organizations. As part of this research we are conducting short, 15-minute interviews with key staff from non-profit organizations in Georgia. Thank you in advance for your consideration. We will be sharing the findings from this research with all the organizations who participate. You can reach me via email at aperkins@mayatech.com, or via phone at (404) 663-1506.

John McCaln says you are a great opportunity to good in the community. I am personally pro-Obama but I am definitely pro-kids (Volunteer medical director at Atlanta Care Center), pro-school and pro-self-help. Am trying to do One-to-one at Marietta YWCA. What a wonderful thing to do!
