The holidays are a time of year when group homes and shelters look to CRN to provide toys and gifts for their residents. CRN invites you, your friends, companies, schools, neighborhoods, and social and civic groups to “Adopt-a-Shelter.”

Adopt-a-Shelter means your group will be responsible for providing new toys and gifts to all the children at one location (shelter or group home). This is a terrific way for family, friends, and work colleagues to get into the true holiday spirit by coming together and helping provide the magic of Christmas for an entire group home or shelter in our community.

How it works:

• Your group determines how many children you can comfortably adopt. We ask groups to spend roughly $100 – $125 per child. (Each group home has 4 – 18 children).
• CRN will provide you with an Amazon wish list from a shelter or group home that has close to that number of children.
• Your group purchases all items on the Amazon wish list (5 per child) and items are sent directly to each group home and shelter.
• That’s it! Your group wakes up on Christmas morning knowing that you’ve made a tremendous difference in the lives of some great kids!
